Anyone still think we can win the title?

a really simple concept which some fans fail to grasp;
you win as a team
you lose as team

torres is argubly the best forward in the world who is going to do fuck all if he isn't given the ball
gerrard is one of the best midfielders/forwards in the world who is going to do fuck all if you don't give him the ball
carra is one of the best center backs in the world who is going to do fuck all if he is given no protection
riena is one of the best keepers in the world who is going to do fuck all if he is given no protection
sure if it makes you feel better single out praise for the people who consistantly do well and ridicule for the players that consistantly fuck up but I'll tell you right now the team relies on each other and the reason we fucked up today is too many had an off day, yes including gerrard, torres and carra but let's all blame the scapegoats because that the thing to do.

I have no idea why this stuff bothers me I can bet a million pounds if the internet were around 20 years ago it would be the same even when we were in our pomp.

Is this question not covered in the prediction league?

Or is this the childish race to start a match thread? Even though the team hasn't been announced or anything significant similar.

Ha ha ha.

'No no, this is the match thread. This one. I've put asteriks in, and capitalised some of it. EVERYBODY use this one.'

'This one.'

I thought we were lethargic and disjointed in the first half. None of the players retained possession or looked to invite that responsibility. We ceded too much possession and gave away free kicks in dangerous area. The centre backs looked uncomfortable. We are fortunate to have Reina in goal. We could and should have been another one or two goals behind at half time.

We were much better in the second half, particularly the last 20 minutes. Moving Gerrard deeper to pick passes and letting Benayoun operate between the lines worked well and with luck we may have equalised. Reina, Johnson and Benayoun performed well, Gerrard as well when Benayoun came on; the rest were mediocre except for Babel who looks out of his depth.

We can have no complaints Spurs scored two cracking goals neither of which Reina stood a chance. Roll on Wednesday.
