We were shit. It's ok to say it. I very much doubt dalglish went into this game to 'dampen down' sparta fucking prague. If we play like that at anfield we could be out of the competition. We should have won this game and had the players to do it, they just didnt perform.
 
Dreadful selection and performance. Hopefully thats the last time we have to watch N'Gog in a Liverpool shirt.

Pacheco for one would've been slightly more interesting to watch. Perhaps even Coady and a few other youngsters as well.

Our squad is very narrow and lacking depth obviously but I'd still love to see a few more youngsters involved.

It was, but I'm not sure what anybody else was expecting.

We pretty much played the best squad we had, unless people are of the view that we should have chucked in the kids like Sterling and Coady and Robinson on a freezing European night against a bunch of cloggers who'd have kicked the shit out of them.

We need serious improvements in the squad, and hopefully NESV are going to invest some more in the next window.

My friend's boyfriend lives in Prague and ever since the draw I was hoping and hinting that he'd invite me over.

NO way I could afford to have gone and stayed in a hotel; so I was hoping...unfortunately the bitch dumped him last year and flew home.

So it's a bit tricky to say 'Hi Martin, I know we've never met but I'm Jojo's friend and I know Jojo's not sleeping with you anymore and dumped you but could I stay in your place for a football game?'

Considering how it went last night, I suppose that's a bullet dodged.

But who'm I kidding?

Would have loved to have gone and waved my scarf in front of the cameras 🙁

There was never a chance of the youngsters being put in last night. They were there for experience. Its pretty obvious that Kenny doesnt rate Pacheco. The only other players that could be on the team were Stevie, Agger and Poulsen who were not available for various reasons, and Skrtel and Kelly who were on the bench

I don't agree.

A lot of teams have got no issues with trying out their young/er players know and then and I can't see any good reason for not giving a player like Pacheco a run out unless of course the manager doesn't rate him at all but why then bring him along?

I understand there's a need for a solid fundament but don't give me this 'young players would've breaked their neck against the recently hypernating Chech's'. They wouldn't have.
 
A lot of teams who'd have no problems playing the kids have better players around weho could help them when they got in trouble or made mistakes.

We don't.

A lot of those teams have something to play for.

The EUropa League is the ONLY trophy we could possibly lift this year; and we badly need something after winning nothing for 5 years.

There is a time to play the kids, and yesterday wasnt it.

A 9-0 demolition of Southend does not make the kids Barcelona.

Kenny went there to do a job, and did it.

My onlky real hope is that we have better players next Thursday.
