henderson will start. in ramires and mata they will have two players with great energy and movement and we need to match that mobility in the centre of the park. I will be amazed if henderson doesn't start, it's the reason he was taken off at half time.

I agree with you on that. I really wish we could start with a front three of Suarez, Bellamy & Maxi. Their movement and interplay would cause the chavs backline a bit of bother.
But, I'm expecting Carroll to start - the benefit of having Carroll on from the start's that we can vary our play a bit, we can try passing it on the deck through the middle or playing it out wide & getting some crosses in. Big Andy'll have to be a real beast in the air tomorrow for that to work though.
Problem with that is our ridiculously weak midfield belly.
Mikel will have his hands full keeping and eye on Suarez (who's bound to drop deep and likes to anyway) so that leaves Mata and lampard v Stevie and Spearing. I would agree that the odds are in their favour on paper in that respect but if spearing keeps tight to mata and gives him a few kicks early doors I think we could ride it out.

I remember John Wark didn't get one in the '86 Final cos he was injured & not in the matchday squad. IMO, every member of the squad registered for the tournament ought to be eligible for a medal.

argh i just can't get up for this final at all . Just haven't enjoyed this season one bit . Come on Henderson , downing, carroll , you collective bag of shite , prove me wrong and actually do something surprising ...ie play well !!!
