Attacking threat isn't our problem, our issue is goalscorers. We don't have enough players in the team who get close to double figures. If coutinho can add goals to his game he will be a amazing player. With the position they play in, players like downing and coutinho should be getting into double figures. But it's very refreshing to see we got such a talented player who will definitely get even better next season.

I'll try to get this back on topic.

You can never have too much attacking threat. We all saw how much Coutihno alone added to our team's ability to penetrate a defense. Our counter-attacks now are at their most clinical since the peak of the Gerrard-Torres pairing; if we score early and the opposing team tries to put us under pressure, more often than not we take them apart on the counter.

Now imagine we replace Downing with another player like Coutihno. Add Sturridge and Suarez, Borini off the bench - the attacking threat will be so great that mid to lower table teams will be forced to defend in numbers against us, even when they are down by a goal. This will change the equation for our defense as well as for players like Allen. That's why I think you can never had too many great attacking players. Let's get Dzagoev!
