Should we find another Origi?

Just watching this video and seeing so many equalising or winning goals from him has me wondering if we're going to be desperately wishing for his presence on the bench this season.
Right now, we've got Nunez coming off the bench but he'll soon be a starter. Firmino can come off the bench and change the dynamic of the game but he'll likely not be scoring the all important goal Divock-style.
I don't see any young forwards coming through right now, so should we be in the market for a supersub that can potentially become a regular down the line? Does an Origi-quality player exist that will happily sit on the bench for 5 years?

Or does the fact that we have one magnificent goal scorer + a potentially world class centre forward, as well as a left winger with huge potential mean we don't need a CF super sub?

This guy really did score some important goals.

I personally would love to see an Origi/Minamino style player come in for us. We just won't though. I know logically Jota will be the backup impact sub, but i'd like more of an unknown quantity to come in off the bench as well

We don't really have mavericks any more. People who follow klopps game plan loosely, but make up for it with their own individual nous. Origi, taki, shqiri; all did their own thing and made impacts for us in different ways.

Definitely this

I guess Carvahlo is the Minamino replacement. As for Origi, in terms of depth he was 3rd or 4th choice for the central strikers role behind Jota, Mané and Bobby so I that's probably Bobby now as Nunez and Jota will be ahead of him. His skillet was probably closer to Nunez in terms of being a more direct no9. The thing we really lack upfront, and have done for some time is a decent backup for Mo on the right.

Not sure why. We’ve been loaning them out and trying to sell players like Minamino and Origi for the last few seasons.

But as Fabio says a player that is thinking outside the box on the bench would be ideal.
Maybe Carvalho can be that player, at least the creating part.

I don't think we would have beaten barca 4-0 without Shaq and Origi. Shaq did whatever he liked. Origi you never knew whether to come close or give him space

Can’t see why we’d want another Origi style player. Nunez gives his physical presence and a whole lot more. And yeh I think Carvalho could easily be that creative type player for us
