True story. A few years ago I used to car pool with a few guys who lived close and worked together on a job over in Yorkshire. Anyway it was my turn to drive and I turn up at the meet point and one of the guys has turned up in a manc shirt. Now its December and bloody freezing and he's not wearing a coat or anything and has walked about 15 mins to get to the meet point, but obviously I'm not going to let him in the car so I put the locks on and tell him to fuck off back home and change his shirt and I'll give him 10 mins (which I felt was being overly generous, but I was in a good mood). He gets really really arsey and threatens to kick a dent in my car so I drive off and leave him. Apparently his wife had his car that day so he couldn't get to the job and he ends up getting sacked.

The thought of just being close to a manc shirt gives me the eebiejeebies. If I had to wear one I'd pass away.

Ha....That's a bit over the top.

If it was work related, I would've made a polite joke about it and got on with it.

If it was a mate, I would've told him to take that shite off.

United. Without any shadow of a doubt.

Chelsea a very distant second. I've never really liked Inter or Lazio as well. I wouldn't wear an Everton shirt either.

For Sport relief, Danny Baker came up with the idea of the 'Shirt of Hurt'- for charidee, you wear the shirt of a team you despise.

Obviously, we've all got a few.

What's yours?

Don't all you scousers say Everton, because we all know there's a photo of you already in an Everton top, manipulated into it by an evil uncle when you were a kid.

Mine-

Scum obviously

Celtic (it would quite literally be the shirt of hurt where I live)

Linfield

England Rugby top.
I own 2 of the shirts you have listed! 😉

You're joking, my bird is a norn iron prod!! I wouldnt last two minutes in a celtic shirt!! She is however a Linfield fan, so i have their shirt, and the England rugby shirt - which she also bought me - It killed her, and her Dad nearly killed her too when he found out!

Apart from the Mancs and Blueshite obv, it would be any Irish / Welsh / Scottish top.

And I would never sully my temple of a body by adorning it with any of them. Not for charidee or a joke.

And Danny Baker can fuck off. Millwall cunt.

And here's me thinking they would be your kind of club.

😉

Hahaha! You can be a patriotic Englishman without being a tatooed, shaven-headed Millwall fuckwit! Besides you ever been to Millwall? Horrible shithole.

I prefer my middle England hideaway! 😉

Probably the United one for me.

I'd hate putting an Everton one on, but I could manage it in a jokey, ironic kinda way, and I could deal with having Blues laugh at me.

The United one, however, I associate with everything shit and evil in the world.

Thankfully I have never had the pleasure of visiting the place.

Plus from what I've heard and read I've always been of the view that its probably best it stays that way

I've lived here 5 years and I'm no Scouser, at least not in truest sense, but I've proudly never touched an Everton shirt.

Are you a Glens man Doc or have you just a special disliking to the 'proud' potato head?
I can't claim to be a real Glens man, though I used to go and support the Glens for cup finals and big games and get attacked by their horrible fans (back in the day when Glens/Linfield matches were the side event to the fighting).

Super Seasiders for me.

the oval was a crack den, it was a punishment to be taken there
I've a great story about a pre-season game I played at the Oval years and years ago, but I'm about to pass out asleep so I'll get to it tomorrow.

I see none of the scousers have denied wearing an Everton shirt in their past.
I've never worn one Doc.
