Arsenal are reportedly preparing to launch a stunning £60million bid for Lyon duo Alexandre Lacazette and Nabil Fekir.
The French pair have excelled for the Ligue 1 side this term and Wenger is keen to bolster his attacking options with a joint bid.
Lacazette, 23, finished as the league’s top scorer with an excellent return of 27 goals whilst Fekir contributed an impressive 13 during the campaign.
And according to reports, the Gunners have sent top scout Steve Rowley to make a final report on the duo as they weigh up making a big-money move.
It is thought a bid in the region of £35-40m would be needed to sign Lacazette while Fekir, 21, would cost close to £20m.

It's obvious the club now think Sterling is such a loon they've got minimum chance of keeping him, so the £60m price tag is, for me, a clever next move. I want the club to be dignified but absolutely firm about this. If another club is going to be complicit with a guttersnipe like Aidy Ward, then that's their price. Otherwise they can go away and leave Sterling stranded. We need to concentrate on improving our squad, so this needs a line drawn, and that's a good line to draw. That's the price - so put up or shut up. And if some idiot offers it, we get the chance to really get a genuinely top striker. That's all we can do from where we are.

60 mill could also get us Carroll and Lallana.

I've got very little confidence in us actually getting what we need.

Sale of Sterling would allow us the opportunity to be really sad when we miss out on getting these two...

.... would be a more accurate title.
