I was just comparing Salah's stats against Suarez from the 2013/2014 season. The one thing which struck me was Salah's consistency.
Salah has scored 32 goals in 38 appearances
Number of games with zero goals: 12
Number of games with one goal: 20
Number of games with two goals: 6
Goals against top 6 teams: 7
Suarez scored 31 goals in 37 appearances
Number of games with zero goals: 19
Number of games with one goal: 9
Number of games with two goals: 6
Number of games with three goals: 2
Number of games with four goals: 1
Goals against top 6 teams: 4 (3 against Spurs)
Suarez was more explosive and erratic. Of course, Salah is not the creative force of nature Suarez was but what struck me is his goal scoring consistency. He has scored one goal in 20 games this season including against top teams.

Kane also scores in two's and three's which bolsters his total, but then that's no use to the team when he goes two or three games without scoring. I'd much prefer Salah scoring in one's on a far more regular basis.
Yeah, we did- but we didn't 'give' it to him as such. More like he took it. We were 2-0 up on 78 mins against Huddersfield. Milner was going to take it but Salah was quite insistent and Milner let him take it. I don't mind if the game is won, but actually, I still wouldn't have let him take that one. I like that he wants to take them though, because that suggests he is greedy for goals. Good.
Reminds of an episode here a decade or two ago when one of the clubs chasing the League got a late match desisive penalty. The playing manager har just been subbed on an took the ball from the guy they had agreed to take peno's with the words "It's better that I score than you missing". And then he smashed it home.

I don't think its unfair. Kane is clearly very good at penalties. Salah less so
Has he missed? I haven't followed that part of his game. Just saw he scored one for us and that crucial one for Egypt.

True. Karius saved it as he knew he would shoot a poor penalty down the middle. Kane is not very good at this, he just get lot's of chances from the spot by his diving compadriots.
