Fair play, I missed that and, if Farrell did say no, then it isn't altogether Robshaw's fault. In theory he could still have told him to take the kick, but I can't imagine many if any captains would.
IMO it probably wouldn't have mattered anyway had Burgess (and Ben Youngs, who was giving your lads all kinds of grief sniping around the edges of the scrum) stayed on the pitch, and had there been less tinkering overall from Lancaster. Woodward in particular was scathing about that and he's always been very supportive of his successors, Lancaster included.
