And I hate the notion that being injury prone is some sort of excuse. Being fit enough to play regularly is a skill. If someone can't be ready to play often enough it's a mark against them (and their signing)

The concern against the stats fella is deffo valid. I've read a few places that as long as we continue to "trust" Edwards and his computer, we'll continue to make poor signings like Balotelli.

We've been linked with a move for Sevillas Sporting Director Monchi, look at his success rate with signings and value for money.
One of our best signings ever would be someone like that to identify and sign players - working together with Rodgers.
