Sheer Muppetry. This has to be some UNited Fans taking the P.

Some disgruntled Liverpool fans are planning to fly a banner over Anfield this Saturday for their clash with Chelsea.

Whatever happened to a good old sing-song? Or standing outside the players' entrance with home-made placards demanding someone's resignation?
Those were the fan protest modes of choice in days gone by, but now everyone who has the temerity to have a sticky spell as manager of a big club is liable to be castigated via the medium of aeroplanes carrying banners.
There is an actual account on Twitter demanding the sacking of Brendan Rodgers as boss of Liverpool. Here is their banner and the tweet which accompanied it:
Manchester United fans used this method of protest last season demanding the sacking of David Moyes and also to have a pop at Steven Gerrard. We would never complain about someone's right to protest, but surely this is a bit soon in the tenure of Brendan Rodgers?
He did an amazing job last season and has had to re-adjust the squad this season. Things are not going well at the moment, but that's when you need the support of your fans.

Great choice of banner, all people will be able to read when it's that high up is "Brendan Rodgers is a football genius", anyway, this is quite clearly a parody account, and the complete lack of credibility is further compounded by the fact it's only being reported on what looks like the Irish equivalent of the lads bible, so it's a no from me.

That banner makes no sense. The headline is complimentary, yet the remainder is derogatory. Whoever thought it up, whatever their reason, is clearly a moron.

Very reminiscent of the "David Moyes is a football genius" banter from our side last season. This is clearly a manc attempted wind-up.

Surely it can't actually be from United fans on the very week Van Gaal bested Moyes at being shite

Hilarious!

But true fact that he has bought average players this season. Markovic, Lallana, Lovren to name a few.
