so riddle me this ... if the contact, slight though it was, is on his left foot why is it his right foot crumples ??? he dived like good un folks for gods sake....gwan.. watch it back and keep your eyes on his right foot.... its almost beautiful....

Its a shite and wrong decision. He gets caught with a kick in his shin running at full speed, of course he's going to fall like that.

I'm surprised you cant see it.

I'm with you on this all the way. There was nothing in the contact from Evans that even slowed Torres down, never mind cause him to collapse.

Magically he forgot to put any weight on his left foot..... its a great effort but not enough sadly to fool the manc loving ref cunt...

Honestly who really gives a shit? It was soft sending off. The mancs (as always) lucked out again. They'll all be chortling into their cornish cider as we speak.

Did you see that bluenose in the crowd when Suarez dived? He's getting a steward and pointing at Suarez. They're such divs!

His foot didn't crumple. The kick prevented his right leg from coming forward in time and being planted into the ground ahead of him. Therefore as his body traveled forwards ahead of his left leg, it caused his leg to lift from the ground, but he suddenly had no feet left on the ground and therefore he fell flat on his face.

Yes it's basic gravity

Is the rule

Is it ???

Oh .... fair enough then.... Personally i got the impression that watching it its fairly fucking obvious that Torres was looking for to go down with the slightest of contacts and deliberately didnt bother to run on even though he was past the man, you can see it if you bother to actually watch what he does with both his feet.... he somehow forgets to use his left one, even though the manc is actually trying to pull out of the tackle...

I thought it was funny to see a twat like Torres suffer....

Obvioulsy it must be part of a wider bribery scandal involving Ginsoak...

Have you learnt nothing from the great Moyes ? Some players like Andy Johnson are so quick they only need a nick to go to ground

I care, cause its just insane to book someone for simulation when there is contact. How he falls is irrelevant.
Clattenburg has such a poor understanding of the game and rules I'm amazed he's a ref at all.
The refereeing standard in the Premier League is horrendous and it is filled with awful decisions week in and week out.

Gwan.... look again at the left foot move kids....its a little bit like when a bull drags its hoof over the sand but doesnt plant it down.....or when your dog tries to cover his shit....its not quite what you would do with your foot if you were trying to put weight on it mind you while you were running....

Evans foot left the ground and caught him on the shin I thought.
Yeah he has a history of being a twat and a diver but that was not a dive today but likely an exaggeration of a foul.

It doesn matter. If there is contact you cant book him for simulation.
If he thinks Torres went to ground to easily then just let the play continue instead of giving a free kick and yellow card, that would have been a much better call if he for some strange reason doesnt think a kick in the shin is a free kick.

I agree with your point Macca, but its hard not to feel hard done by when Utd win with some shocking decisions and we "lose" 2 points due to a shite linesman.
