Joyce from The Express is claiming West Brom have made an offer for him. Kinda fits the Pulis approach I guess.

He'll surely not be here beyond the end of August will he?

Good signing. Asute. Wyse. Ahead of the curve ball money value thingy. A scouser sumo user. Loved a bit of the old stevia g. Lamblert.

Good deal for all involved, shame it didn't work here, but I hope he does well there, he and Berahino should be a decent forward line for WBA.

Be a great score if we get 3mill. I was expecting him to go for 800k or something. Nice guy, never given a good run, but I don't think he was ever going to get one. Good luck.

He has had a pretty decent career for someone with such limted skill.

Played for england and his favourite team.

Shame it didnt work out. Never complained and a great lad imho. Hope he has a few decent years at the Hawthornes.
Good luck to him.

Not helped at all by Rodgers tactics

Shame it didn't work out like he would have hoped

Sensible signing or not, Lambert got a poor deal last season and IMO it cost us. There were points we let slip against some of the middle- or lower-ranking teams which we'd have stood a better chance of getting if he'd been up front, instead of Balotelli doing his imitation of the Sphinx, or Sterling beating three men before hitting his final shot with a feather duster. Shame for the lad as Fabs says, and I hope he does well, whether it be at W.Brom or elsewhere.

Massive disappointment, thought he would be an effective option for us but he was terrible.

This was one of those signings that could have worked out great and no-one can be blamed because it didn't happen.

As soon as he missed a penalty in pre-season when he never missed before, the confidence drained and the step up got to him. That's why Danny Ings' goal today was so important, a player moving up a grade needs to start well or his belief falls off a cliff.

My best memory of Ricky is his goal at Villa Park and the celebration that followed right in front of us, good luck to him but move on.

I still can't figure out how he went from a very useful player with Southampton to a league 2 level footballer with an enormous giant head that made it look like someone had entered an NBA Jam cheat code.

Rodgers, poor soul, didn't have enough time to coach him. Pulis will, and he'll start scoring again.

In each of the last six years he has scored at least 14 goals per season apart from last year when he had only three.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if he scored 15 this season for the Baggies.

His opportunities have taken a decisive blow with the newly acquired strikers, I'm sure he's itching to get more than the odd appearance. Good luck to him wherever he chooses to go.

Totally agree.
I still think he's a very decent player that could have done way better as our third choice striker had circumstances been different.
Feel for him, but at least he got to experience a part of what he dreamed of whilst looking on from the youth team.
Plus a nice fat pay cheque.

Hopefully not replaced by another 30-something journeyman footballer who scored a handful of goals last season and has had a life long dream to play for Liverpool.

He'll play up front with graham Butler and form the lambert & butler partnership maybe they could bag 20?

Norwich has apparently joined in the race. Would be good if we manage to get the £5m Aston Villa were prepared to pay earlier in Jan.
