Liverpool set to make summer approach for Empoli star Riccardo Saponara

Liverpool are poised to make a bid for Empoli star Riccardo Saponara next summer.
The Italian has been instrumental for the Serie A strugglers so far this term, netting four goals and laying on nine assists.
Juventus and Roma are understood to be interested in buying the playmaker but Liverpool are ready to spend big on him next summer.
According to La Nazione, Empoli are reluctant to sell the 23-year-old in January but expect to receive a number of bids at the end of the season.
Anfield boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to add further attacking options to his squad in January but may have to wait a further six months to make his move for Saponara.
