Beat Crystal Palace today. Now play Leicester in the final. Salah was very lively in the first half before being benched. Solanke scored a brilliant goal from distance and Origi scored a scrappy goal after a good run and cross from Milner.

Grujic is a fascinating figure. I've still not seen enough of him, but what a strange mixture he seems. Excellent vision, and a hell of a shot on him, and an ability to blast passes all over the pitch; if he finds precision and finesse to complement that he could be very effective. Then there's his tackling, which is, to be polite, rather 'Serbian' in its brutality and sometimes almost comically clumsy. Definitely still very raw, but there's something very interesting about him.

Must be contract renewal time.

27 and off the back of his worst season ever. Will cost about 50m
No chance.

I don't know if Klopp is trying to develop his all round game, but he seems to have appeared in every position but his favoured role, which seems a bit counter-productive.

Glad someone raised the question. Interesting to see his final position ends up to be.

[article]Jurgen Klopp believes it's too early to say where Ben Woodburn's future lies at Liverpool - but he's relishing watching his development.

The exciting teenager played mainly on the left side of a front three as he clocked up nine appearances during his breakthrough season at Anfield.

However, in pre-season Klopp has been using him in an advanced central midfield role and has been impressed by how he's adjusted his game.

The youngest goal scorer in the club's history caught the eye again in Wednesday's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in Hong Kong.

"Ben has played there's a few times before and he's a very smart player," Klopp said.

"He's too young to fix him to any one position. We want to have him in and around our team.

"We will see what happens as he grows. Will he get even smarter? 100%.

"Bringing him into the middle of the park will help him to learn the highest level of football under pressure.

"It's exciting. I have no idea what his best position is, I'm just happy to have him around."[/article]

He can become something like Thomas Muller – playing on the wing or as a "false nine", but mainly in the team as a goalscorer. Klopp knows what he's doing.

I'm very excited by Woodburn from what I've seen of him in the first team, no idea how he fared in the ressies etc but he's class on the ball and looks smart off it I'd imagine a player like him would massively benefit from a season or two with coutinho and firmino as he certainly looks capable of playing that role. He looks less effective outwide and physically doesn't look quite ready to lead the line or play off the shoulder
