I'm not convinced.

His age, injury record, ex manc, and the money involved puts me off personally.

Well, it would be a short term fix anyway, so the age thing is not an issue .
His injury record, it's a risk ,
The money, well, we don't know what that is, but as I said if it helps us keep in the top four it's money well spent,
Likewise he United past, if it works I couldn't care less, in fact it would be a plus.

regards

Well "if" he did contribute to keeping us in the top four, then of course it would be money well spent. I'm just not convinced that the RVN of today would make much of an impact.

I think the top and bottom of is, that i'd rather we didn't spend any of our already small transfer kitty on such players.

The papers suggested Madrid were touting him around for a million or two.

That's a peanut risk in today's market.

Sheringham played till he was 64 and did just fine.

there's no money to pay a fee for a player and no space on the wage bill

the yanks are killing us, wake up.

Exactly. But if Rafa does feel the need, then a freebie or loan deal is the way I would go. Save the cash for the summer.
the most sensible answer here. A deal of similarity to when we brought in anelka would suit s!!!

He'd never come and Rafa would never want him, but I'd love to see Cassano here for the right price.

I like my talented mentalists.

Let's get someone from the South American leagues.

Martin Fucking Palermo.
Ideally we need someone to hit the ground running straight away with Prem experience.
It's a funny name though

He's related to Kevin Fucking Davies and Ryan Fucking Babel.

RVN is a good shout though Vlads, I wonder if we can get him in on loan rather than buying him outright.

Kevin Davies from Bolton would be tolerable if the alternative is anal rape.

He's better than every other striker at the club and would do a good job for the team.

The last time Judge Jules and I went head-to-head over Heskey, it resembled a scene at the end of The Godfather; bloody fucking carnage

Cf our arguments about Parry/ Agger/ whoever/ whatever

Please desist immediately, it never goes well for you

If Rafa were to choose a South American player that displayed all the qwalities he looks for in a player, he would probably be from Mexico and be called Manuel Labour.

Thierry Henry!
No more injured players thanks.

He'll be fit by the January window and we could get him on loan or on the cheap. A half fit Henry is better than all of our striking back up rolled into one.

There is no doubting his quality, but either way, we've got no chance of getting him so it's a moot point.

Not so sure Keni, it seems Pedro is getting the nod ahead of Henry for now. We have nothing to lose making a cheeky bid. Benni has discipline issues but so did Bellers. He is a proven goalscorer although a scum supporter.

No, he's not.

Henry has been injured. Guardiola rotates.

It would probably be cheaper to buy him, than pay his wages, he must be on stupid money right now

I would rather have Marlon Brando

A pick between Anelka, Keane or Bellamy should be fine. Got some pace at least.

Thread tiltle says "realistic" targets.

Ah Stu, Kevin Davis, really? Kuyt up top would clearly be better, i'd rather give N' Gog games then to actually pay money for Kevin Davies.
