It isn't irrelevant

It's the opposite of irrelevant

Which is relevant
I was talking about Crouch V Bent. In that context it is to me.
Heh.. I love Crouch but I think you're being massively harsh on Bent, it's not like he's had loads of chances (for England), and he got a fair few I'd wager while he was at Spurs and getting treated like shite (he also had a lengthy injury didn't he?). I think he's a really good striker, his goalscoring record is very good and he's the type of level we should really expect as back up, as in enough to also push for a first team place.
How is he going to push for a first team place? We have Fernando Torres up front and we play with one striker. If it was about goal scoring record, we'd have taken Owen back on a free. I expect better as a back up striker and so does Rafa too I suspect.
What? Contradiction alert, so as back up, if it's not about the goals, what the fucks it about then?

Better like who? David Villa?

So now you're saying Bent isn't even good enough as a back-up striker, and that Benitez agrees?

So he's happier with Eggnog and Voronin

You're talking shite and my fucking patience is running out
Well yea but when I say better I mean more skilful, get a goal out of nothing that kind of thing. Bent is too reliant on service, particularly crosses to be effective for us. When defences park the bus, which has seldom happened at any of the clubs he's played for, what's he going to do? That's what I mean when I say its not just about goals. Lots of average strikers have scored Premiership goals. When you play for a top club, you need more.

List some more average strikers who have scored lots of Premiership goals in the last few seasons

And would you call RVN as a striker who could make goals out of nothing?

He was utterly reliant on service, and you are a moron

You're the one comparing RvN and Darren fucking Bent and you have he gall to call ME a moron? You're having a laugh.

This is pointless, you don't have a fucking clue what you're on about
Yes I do. Darren Bent is not that good. What are *you* on about?

Fuck me, we're being linked to that brick shitbox Heskey again.

Wont this horrible, traumatizing rumor ever go away?
Please. No.

I doubt we'll be breaking any sponsorship records if we're not in the CL.
the deal is already signed.

Well, we're still wearing shirts with Carlsberg on 'em...

And surely the deal is built on a number of performance related clauses, that'd mean less money paid if we didn't make into the Champs.

Really?

Unlucky Standard Chartered.
HSBC and Citigroup are probably laughing their tits off at Stanchart; they're their main rivals in this neck of the woods.
