Twitter's becoming a potential career/reputation killer, especially when you consider that it started out as an application where famous people could share with us such vital information as their daily toilet habits or how many bowls of rice krispies they had for breakfast. Powah's obviously enjoyed being in the public eye recently. But he's either stupid or incredibly naive not to think that his comments about Suarez and Oldham wouldn't come back to bite him, given the Terry saga, etc. Regardless of his comments, like Diane Abbott discovered, getting into a spat on a public domain - in this digital age!! - is the last thing he should be doing. But people who seem to crave publicity tend not to think of the consequences of their actions until the damage is done and the vultures start circling.
