Premier League 11 vs La Liga vs Serie A best in show.

The rules are simple, you can select any player for a league providing he played more games in that league than any other.
IE:Henry is Premiership, Shevchenko is Serie A etc.
And you can only pick players since the premiership started.

Who would get in (no subs) and which team would come out top?

Not got time to put my 11 up yet.

But a La Liga 11 would come out on top for me.

Yeah, it's pretty tough. I didn't know what to do with Gerrard. I think Fabregas is a better CM, but I had to get Stevie in there somewhere.

[/quote]We're rammed with choices in CM Scholes, Keane, Petit, Lampard, Essien etc.
Italy is rammed with amazing forwards Trezeguet, Del Piero, Shevchenko, Weah, Totti, Inzaghi, Vieri, Batistuta etc
Wierdly its Spain with the least options mostly but their current crop along with the galacticos makes their first 11 really strong. There isnt masses underneath that for them though.

Overall I think Spain would win, purely on the basis of their attack, but I wouldn't bet money on it as Italy's defence and keeper are amazing.

EDIT: I forgot Cafu. Replace Thuram for Cafu.
 
Zola (Chelsea), Ginola (Spurs/Newcastle), Bergkamp (Arsenal) and Cantona (Utd) were brilliant attacking talents for their Premier League sides.

Let's not forget that Marcel Desailly (Chelsea) and Lucas Radebe (Leeds) were much better defenders than both than Campbell and Ferdinand.

think he spent 6 years each in Italy and Spain but was injured more while in Italy (if i remember correctly) so from that you could say Spain.

Or maybe you don't know him. He used to play for Manchester United a few years back.

Sorry Squiggs. I just find it astonishing that any self-professed football fan - regardless of age - hasn't heard of Marco Tardelli.

I think Ronaldinho has to make it into the Spanish XI. For three or four years he was simply unplayable, the best in the world.
