We don't need anymore attackers, we've added 2 to a strong forward line anyway, with Ings also coming back so make that 3.

Defence was our problem last season and still is, we need to get that sorted asap and before we do anything else.

While I agree that our defence is a big problem, I disagree that we don't need to add another quality attacker.

If you look at just the amount of goals we scored then it seems like we don't have any problems up front. But in reality we score a lot in the games we win but dropped a lot of points in other games simply because we don't have a quality striker. These are the players who will make the difference when teams are "parking the bus" and we fail to break them down. That's why when we had Suarez we scored a lot of goals as well as a lot more points on league table.

Ideally I would like to see us sign a top class striker and Firmino play just behind him as a No.10 with Mane and Salah on the wings.

I also think it's unlikely but I fully believe that to challenge for the title it is what we need. Because from your list only Sturridge is a good enough "striker" that should be starting for us up front but clearly we can't rely on him to stay fit. Firmino is not a natural striker who will get us 20 league goals. And the rest on your list I don't think are good enough or proven.

Firmino isn't a natural striker but he is Klopp's preferred choice and he's good enough imo. Unless we sell Sturridge we won't buy anyone else. I'd love us to sign Lacazette but it won't happen. Seems nailed on to join Arsenal ffs. Ings never got a chance as he's been injured, Origi was off form but on his day is good enough, Sturridge is class, just needs to stay fit (which is an issue) and Solanke can do a job in cup games for now. We've got enough depth and decent depth to prioritise other positions now.

I think Coutinho and Firmino as 2 midfielders leaves us quite exposed defensively which was a problem last season. If we have Coutinho pulling the strings in CAM, we need 2 CMs that can defend.

Priority signings should be CM, CB, LB.. then see how much $$$ we have left.
