I’m hoping this squad has PSV vibes and get more key players rested.

Kelleher / Jaros

Bradley (possibly rotate with Gomez for fitness)
Quansah
Endo
Tsimikas

Mcconnell
Morton
Elliot

Chiesa
Nunez
Diaz

Get minutes for Jota to aid his return.

Leave Ibu Virgil Robbo Gravy Macca Mo at home.

If we play a team similar to the one we played against PSV we will lose.
I think that's why Slot only played Macca for 20 mins. We also need a senior CB on the pitch. Not sure about having Endo at CB playing against a physical Plymouth side.

Kelleher
Bradley Quansah Endo Tsimikas
Mac Mac Elliott
Chiesa Jota Diaz

Planned subs for Macca & Bradley > Jones & Gomez early 2nd half

Play today's team against Everton with Ali & Macca coming in for Kelleher & Jones + obviously switch Nunez/Jota in case Diogo looks match fit

Are they a physical side?

Want us to win this as I see this game as much more than a one off trip to Plymouth in the 4th round of a domestic cup.......for me it's about the final destination, after missing out on the quad twice prior.......I have a good feeling with the way the season is going, it could be third time a charm baby.

So changes for sure but strong enough to go through without any funny business.

Kelleher
Bradley Endo Virgil Kostas
Mac Mcconnell
Harvey
Chiesa Jota Nunez

That's what I read. Haven't seen them play much. Saw one game and Andre Gray got them a point in the last minute.

What I read was that their new manager has apparently given them a lift.
They have a big striker and lead the league in red cards.

They are smack at the bottom of the Championship.

If they are the type who make rash challenges then all the more we should keep the first team away.

Endo should know how to deal with them in midfield. Is big Joe back?

Yep, I'm all for heavy rotation.

Even before we get to the kids, Jones, Elliott, Endo, Jota, Chiesa, Gomez, Nunez could all do with some minutes. The squad is in a good place.

Rest everyone and lose please.

I can’t take us losing the league because of fatigue and or injuries and that has a much greater chance of happening if we are competing on all four fronts at the business end of the season.

You need to relax mate.
We're not playing Klopp's high intensity football any more and we're almost in mid Feb with basically a fully fit squad.
We also have a favourable fixture list allowing us to rotate with low risk. Play the b-team against Plymouth and the best against Everton mid-week.

If we're not 9 points ahead of Arsenal after the Everton game, we can start talking about binning the FA cup.

Let's see what table looks like at the end of February.

Chiesa has to start.

Endo and jones can start, possibly with someone like nyoni

Rio on the bench. Happy for diaz to start and keep gakkers for everton

Kelleher, Bradley, Quansah, Gomez, Tsimi, Endo, Jones, Nyoni, Chiesa, Jota, Diaz

Agree with all this except Jota to come off the bench. Nunez to start. Can't risk injuring Jota playing him from the start against an aggro lower league team on a shit pitch.

Last time we overused Bradley he got injured. This game is in three days, I'd rather not let anyone who played over 60 mins against Spurs play.

For me, it's gotta be:

Kelleher

Mabaya
Quansah
Gomez
Tsimikas

Endo
Macca
Elliott

Chiesa
Jota
Diaz

Sub Macca for Nyoni or McConnell or Jones
Sub Diaz for Ngumoha
Sub Jota for Nunez or some other kid

I wouldn't start Macca has he & Gravy are about to play 80-85 in all 5 PL games we have after this. Which is kind of Dreamy's point I feel i.e. say Macca only got a knock but is out for 2 weeks - that's 5 matches missed.

True, I wouldn't mind seeing McConnell start

Too much trauma from past failing with no Mane to bail us out.

We will look ragged when we have a big game every 3 days.

Absolutely not to mention every single player will lose energy and reserves during that period. Starting from a full tank is more important than the FA Cup 4th round. Let the kids and reserves battle it out.

Is Gomez fit?

I'd 'risk' Bradley with it. He hasn't played much football and if he's not playing regularly when Trent is out injured then what's the point? The lad needs and deserves minutes and Trent will be back before long. I wouldn't mind Jones starting, but McConnell deserves a go and I think Slot will back him.

I wouldn't even tell Jota there was a game on.
