Not much to say about this - very limited areas i expect us to rotate.

I felt our lack of control today was partly due to missing Macca and so expect the same again. CJ just isn’t a ‘move the ball quickly’ guy. I’d have him at AM and someone else at DM but we know that won’t happen.

Get Diaz central, Gakpo wide and bench the donkey for forseeable.

Oh and i hope we don’t play that inverted bullshit with Trent. It’s shite.

Alisson

Trent
Gomez
Virgil
Robbo

Gravy
Jones
Szobo

Salah
Diaz
Gakpo

Yep full strength bar Macca and Kelleher. 😉

We really need to get back on the winning bandwagon in the league, hopefully Wilson leaves his shooting boots at home.

Worth noting Fulham have Bassey (CB) and Cairney (CM) suspended. Andersen (CB) possibly out injured and same with Reiss Nelson.

I’d expect them to go for a low block with Adama, Iwobi & Raul there to counter attack.

Arsenal game shows how difficult every game is in the premier league, they defended a hell of a lot and got a point so we better be prepared.

Fulham always seem to match up well against us. At least they did under Klopp, their low block combined with quick transitions and direct attack is something our high line struggles against, particularly when our pressing is not 100% We've looked tired v Newcastle and Girona so this is not going to be pretty. I'd drop be tempted to drop Jones for Elliott if he's got 60 mins in him.

Yep, no need for rest or rotation. League cup game midweek so play the best.

I went to this last season, the 4-3 thriller with Trent's winner.

Fulham's approach almost every attack was to make first progressive pass central and always a one touch pass out wide trying to break into gaps out wide.

This was one of those games where bringing on Gomez to play RB worked a treat as we stopped giving up so many counter attacks and went on get the late goals

Update on Konate:

“He’s not in a knee brace now... It kind of tallies with what I said: that it’s not quite the 5-6 weeks that was touted.”

“There’s real hope that he can be back before that. So, hopefully, the back end of December rather than January.”

Looks like Chiesa and Jota are back in full training today.

At least for parts of the training, but also training on their own. Guessing neither will be in the squad for Saturday but hopefully against Soton away in the league cup. We need to rotate for that game.

If we play like we did last game, they can skip that first pass and just do the second one.

Nice to see Rio in the orondos with the big boys. Rico looked turd in those too which might also be something Slot is making him work on along side being fit.

Seems pretty obvious who'll start tomorrow. It's the line up Brizzy posted.
In one training exercise, around the 8.30 mark, you'll see Robbo, VD, Trent, Joey, Gravy, Szobo, Cujo, Lucho, Gakkers and Salah in the same team with Ali in the opposite goal.
Nunez playing with Endo, McConnell, Norris, Nallo, Chiesa, Jota and others.
