Just strolling around - defending is not in his job description (here or at RM).
We changed tactics about 3 times since the sending off and I think eventually found what works - Gravvy at RCB is not too different from the job he usually does, think Konate with better dribbling skills. Gomez as a defensive-minded LB/CB and Trent as quasi-midfielder is probably the best uses of their qualities in this situation.
Too bad a few players are having stinkers too; don’t think Gakpo has done anything right in this half and Trent and Curtis haven’t been at it. I would bring on Jota for Gakpo in the 2nd half.
Disagree. We've seen Gakpo coming inside instead of running at the FB. You don't need the whole team to do that. It's a simple one on one.

The problem we have is our main chances are coming from crosses from Gakpo and Diaz can't finish them. Slot has done well to wrestle back control of the game, but we're going to need some new attacking patterns in the second half.

Probably getting us back for getting Coote's fired. Honestly though all prem games needed to be audited and the Refs held to account, the only way its gonna improve. The PGMOL needs an overhaul

Trent's passing and corners (one glorious, early pass aside) have been pitiful. Mentally, that boy is already in Madrid.
After several changes in formation, we've finally found a set up that's worked in getting us back into this... We need to attack those two defenders that are both on yellows, and we need to get something from nunez and Jota, when they come on later.
Only reason I have any hope that we can get something here, is because we should already be 3 down.
Oh, and I think Gravy's done really well as a makeshift CB.
