Ramsdale can be got at, even if Arsenal have been better at the back.
Ødegaard is keeping things ticking over going forward, and is much improved. Shut him and Saka down, and there aren't much outlet.
Tierney might look to overlap and provide something, but apart from that, not too much apart from Martinelli's direct running.
So apart from odegaard, saka, Tierney and martinelli they don't offer much going forward. That's alright then.

Hal will be pleased...

I guess it would all come down to how confident our players feel during the game. If Arsenal allows us to build the confidence with some nice moves/one goal in the beginning 20 minutes, we will perform much better compared to recent weeks.

I think Thiagos performance will be massively important to this game assuming he doesn’t stand on any Lego today. He can give us the impetus/confidence/comfort if he’s at his best

Yes, this. Don’t worry about their forward play. Get them to worry about ours. Get the ball quickly up to diaz, Mané and Jota/Salah and get them on the back foot. We can tear them a new one inside 30 minutes. They’re basically spurs in red with the spine of a jelly fish.

it has been a while since we tried the rock and roll opening

Did you not watch the league cup final ?

I’ve not seen us put in such a great performance in a long while. It was full on 90mins school of rock.

If we put in a shift like that again we’ll beat the Arse. Our defense needs to be 200% focused. Keep a very disciplined line and play from the back, on the counter and we’ll be fine. That’s why having Mo injured is a big loss.

We weren't at our best against Chelsea. They were the better team.

Now here's Mikel Arteta's rival boss on Wednesday, Jurgen Klopp, with an update on Liverpool's top scorer Mohamed Salah, who went off injured during Saturday's 2-0 win over Brighton.
"Mo is a tough cookie," said Klopp. "We were quite happy and lucky.
"It's swollen, painful, but today less so. I got a message before the press conference that he's ready to train. We'll see how that looks."

I love it when we do the arse
