3 wins and a draw. Qualified for Semis and keot the gap to 5th in the league. Couldn't have responded to that much better. If anything changed the City away and Everton results but still we came well out of those games.
That's a cheap shot mate. Do an analysis for what we require from those games and then let's see how we fare. Normally it is easy to say just beat that and that team, but we have to consider the circumstances and what else is at stake. If we require Three win whatever the cost, and end up With 2 draws then I can agree we haven't gone far. But if we expect to rotate in some youngsters, nurture the form against whoever we meet in the semis and try to not Waste energy in the hunt for the final it can be different. After the international we were under pressure in the League and went into those quarters as underdog, and we responded well.

After all those boys have done for you lately, why is your demands that high? What's the Logic behind it?
I like winning football games. And I want to finish ahead of united.
We have 5 league games and 3 cup games (potentially) and I want us to win them all.
Honestly, we have a much depleted squad, and we have potentially 3 of the biggest games in our recent history coming up. Do we win the 'beating Utd in the league' trophy? What would REALLY beat Utd, beat Spurs, is us coming home with big ears one more time. Last year Maureen prioritised the Europa over the league when he saw that it was his best chance of CL qualification. How much more reason do we have to prioritise the biggest trophy out there? We do enough to squeeze top 4 in the league, but all must be sacrificed at the altar of CL glory.
Everyone wants us to win all games. But by that standard we will fail. This thread was about how we cope in a given situation that could make or brake Our season totally. We went into the period nervous and came out as early crowned kings of Europe.
Then we have the Next step, and Your response is "watch us fuck up" based on you want us to win all games we play. That's not fair taking into consideration that we are in the very final stage of the season. Legs, minds and bodies react to a long tough season. We saw that very much last year. We are in the CL semi's which we have been 4 times in around 30 Seasons. We have seasonending injuries to key players in a stretched Squad. I think you are either lazy or harsh. Probably both.
I thinkt he League now is about securing top 4. That's all that matters. Risk loosing the potential gamewinners in Europe against what reffered to as cannonfodder to Catch United is not wise. Still we need to play them at some part. Keep the good rythm in the team by not making Whole changes will help us keep the momentum. Still I think it is a good time to introduce some fresh younger legs also. Give them a tatste of it and help the team develop. As much as I want to win games, I can't be arsed about 3rd or 4th in the League if it means winning CL, and per now we have probably a 30% chance of doing just that.

Nah, they're fucked with no redeemable features. They'll lose to West ham Monday, then fuck up against Burnley.
I don't really care what the others come up With. We are capable of beating whoever it is at any given situation. But Our program is more than that Bournemouth and WBA has little but pride to play for.

The two standout matches will of course be the semi's. We really stretched the Squad over the two last weeks so whatever happens to the Bournemouth game is hard to tell. Win it and fine, Draw it With a weakend start XI and still fine. I think we should avoid defeat as it is unneccesary. WBA is shit but a New manager trying to impress his homecrowd? Not sure. Maybe we should have 3 Points against Bournemouth in the bank so this one can be a really really soft game for us. Stoke inbetween those games is impossible to tell on now. All based on injuries I Guess. Luckily there aint no bookings to worry about in the Semis so no suspensions. But if any lesson has been taken this lst week it must be that no lead in the first leg is comfortable enough to not be Sharp as fuck before 2nd leg, so I Guess I am willing to play the C or even D team against Stoke if it gives us 1% added benefit prior the 2nd leg.
Chelsea? They can of course build a momentum over the Next few weeks, but I assume all they focus on now is their Semifinal. By then it should not matter anyway.
