By the way, no-one seems to think we are title contenders at the minute. Which surprises me. But it's also fine with me

At the end of this spell, we should have a pretty clear picture of where we stand and if we are challenging for the title or not.

Hmmmm … every team has to play every other team twice
And the sky is blue. However we've already played 6 of the Top 10 (4 away) vs say Spurs who have only played 3 (2 at home) so it's about who's got the better chance of obtaining more points going forward - but of course you and everyone else already knew that. It is something that I find annoying in the media when they cream themselves over Spurs - the easiest run and 3 stolen points that would have put us top.

Don't lose at City and we should be top.

Liverpool travel to Luton Town next weekend before hosting Brentford on November 12. A booking against the Hatters would see Mac Allister miss the clash with the Bees, but should he instead receive his fifth caution against the latter, he will be forced to sit out the Reds’ trip to Man City.

Trent Alexander-Arnold was cautioned in the 19th minute for a late foul on Ola Aina. That was his third yellow card of the Premier League season, meaning he is also at risk of being suspended for the Reds’ trip to Man City if he were to pick up further bookings against both Luton and Brenford.

I've just seen the Spurs' performance (inverted commas, not that Palace were any better) vs. Palace. They had ONE shot on target all game (Palace had 13-3 to SPurs' 10-1) yet still scored twice.

Ironically funny that with spurs best start ever they could be 4th by the time they play Chelsea on Monday...
