Yeah, he's a Gooner and mentions footy quite often.

Patrick Barclay in "The Times" the other day said that, while not expecting us to win the league, he actually wouldn't write off our chances as outsiders altogether, which is nice to hear from one of the longest-serving and most respected football hacks out there. Cascarino on the other hand reckons Everton will get fourth, so get your money on them fighting relegation.

i'm worried that they're going to sign ozil - really worried. it'd be tragic if they got him for peanuts and we didn't at least try to stop it.

Agree, provided we've got the money to put a serious bid in and not make fools of ourselves over it. Not only is Ozil such a good player, it would drive Ferguson absolutely spare if we could do what he's done to other clubs and hijack a big transfer.

yep. i just hate the idea of him going there, he'd be absolutely perfect for them, particularly for the £13m or so that's been mooted.
