He's said nothing offensive about Hillsborough or The S** or the city of Liverpool, so I'm not sure why you're having a go at him for being a 'bad' supporter. He's just a poor speller who doesn't like the way Carragher plays football.

I wasn't really trying to discuss the veracity of all of his shite opinions and statements. Just wanted to illustrate that the way he couches his opinions - which ARE generally shite, admittedly - is really grating.

He's got nothing else in his locker, all his posts are like the ones I listed: those of a sweary dimwit with a poor grasp of English, little affinity with LFC in any way and a bad attitude.

No player or manager is above criticism when it's warranted.

And in fairness, Bunny...whilst the slating he's getting may be a tad excessive, it's not because he's criticised Carra.

It's because he's been very dismissive of things which are important to the club; and whilst Oncy is perfectly right when he says that everyone as a right to be a fan in whatever way they see fit...I personally feel that that has to be tempered with the realization that he is exactly the kind of far-flung fan that gets scorned.

And that bothers me because other far-flung fans are tarred with the same brush.

Yes, something like that shouldnt bother me, but it does.

I know someone will come in now and say 'it's not about OOT' but zlatan is the exact reason why it even comes up.

So im guessing you would prefer to have lucas in our midfield? I didnt say carragher is SHIT, all i said was that he is PAST his best and should be a sub now not a first team starter. You see unlike you, i watch the different leagues and i see what players are like, and aquilani is a good player as he showed near the end of last season. Dont judge a player until you have watched them play consistently

Because if he had watched Aquilani play in the serie a when he was fit, he would understand that aquilani is a really gifted footballer. Just because he has had some injury problems, doesnt mean people should write him off without giving him a proper chance.

I'm not saying Aquilani is a bad player. i am saying he has a poor signing thus far and am questioning whether or not he is worth keeping, given we have a weak squad and don't really have the capacity to keep a player who might be good at some point!

So that is me backing up my view. from what i can see your view that Aquilani is one player we should not consider offers for appears to be based on you seeing him play in another league and being alright when he wasn't injured.

Because if you had watched the serie a over the years and seen him play you would be of a different opinion to the one you are at the moment.

Ok fair enough, obviously if an offer of 20mil came for aquilani id consider it due to his injury record but i wouldnt sell him for 10mil like some of the people on this site have said before.

A player doesnt lose their skills, they just lose form and hopefully recapture it. Something he started doing at the end of the season when he got a few games under his belt.

By me saying id prefer aquilani starting and you not agreeing, then you must be in the opinion that lucas is a better player and should be starting ahead of him?
