Off form for a season is a little bit different than being off form for a few games though.

And no, the fact is, bad performances are put under the spotlight no matter who you are or who you play for. Pepe's had plenty of praise and adulation during his time at Liverpool, and rightly so but you have to take the rough with the smooth.

He was in poor form last season, here's hoping he's in great form this.

Btw, it's cool the way you get personal when it comes to my posts, maybe you're trying to change the subject are you? Because, maybe, deep down you know i'm not wrong in my original post in this thread. I didn't say it without justification. You only have to think back to some of the goals we conceded last season.

The thing is no one is denying Pepe had a poor season, so did Gerrard and Suarez when compared to the standards they can play at. Do you call them liabilities? No, purely because all 3 are not.

I (like to) think I'm as impartial as they come Wol, and even I wouldn't swap Reina for Valdes.

Not out of any undying affection for Reina or anything like, it's just that Valdes isn't great.
