1) I agree re: Erodgan but he has every right to meet him imo.
2) His point about 'German if we win, Turkish if we lose' resonates with me after Trevor Noah's take on the subject.

Immigration is a real economic problem in Germany, Ozil's bullshit feelings are just naïve virtue signalling and ignoring that real problem. The 'German if you win Turkish if you lose' thing is just the fake news pandering to right wing sentiment which is growing out of that real economic problem. If he is reading that fake news and thinking he is genuinely being racially mistreated, then he is just as much as a sucker as the right wing nutjobs on the opposite side, they're all falling for the bullshit.
