Be nice if the Saudis came in for ratboy in the summer, interesting to see where they'd be without him.
I really hope so..Bournemouth will batter city in the quarters.
Don't want Bournemouth to win it, they're not a proper club with a rich history. It'd be like when Wigan won it. Obviously don't want City to win it either. Happy for any of the others - I don't think Palace, Fulham or Brighton have ever won a trophy before, so that'd be nice. All decent-sized clubs who've come close before.
How can anyone hate Bournemouth?! 🤣
I don't HATE Bournemouth, they're just a nothing club. No fans, no history, no romance. I'd like one of the bigger clubs to win it, just somehow feels more fitting to me.
I’m the opposite, I’d much rather a smaller club win it than one of our rivals.
Exactly, but I honestly prefer Villa to win it. I wouldn't mind the others except Man C obviously, but I just want Emery to win it so he can rub that cup in Gooner fans faces.I’m the opposite, I’d much rather a smaller club win it than one of our rivals.
Yeah, I wouldn't begrudge Villa the FA cup.Exactly, but I honestly prefer Villa to win it. I wouldn't mind the others except Man C obviously, but I just want Emery to win so he can rub that cup in Gooner fans faces.
That combined with us winning the league?
I'll be licking virtual tears on AFTV for a month at least.
*Tips hat.Isak, Cunha, Gordon, Mitoma, Hall, Lamptey all injured or suspended.
In retrospect glad we escaped the FA Cup death trap

Question, such a random color combo for West Ham, Burnley and Villa. Why so many teams with an odd combo.
Yeah I was wondering that, just looked it up. Basically because the others copied Villa who were the preeminent team around the early part of the century.
Doesn't seem to be much on why Villa chose the colours in the first place, though (which were originally "chocolate and sky blue" btw, which at some point was changed to claret).
