you guys are underestimating how good Moratta is - he'll easily score 20 goals/season with Hazard and Pedro buzzing around him.

I ain't watched him, but Mandzukic was preferred to him at Juve and Benzema was preferred to him at Madrid, and he's scored 40 goals in 6 seasons.

You can get to fuck if you think I'm gonna worry about that cunt.

OK I just watched his highlights from last season and the only decent side he scored against was Napoli, and it was an open goal after the keeper saved Ronaldo's shot

He did score six against Leganes. Who I have literally never heard of.

Fuck him, he's shit.

Morata is a fine player whose only downside is not being a galactico. There are echoes of Samuel Eto'o about him.

Benzema started ahead of him mate ... and that's if it wasn't Ronaldo up front ...
I hope you guys are right but this guy is a really good player.
He's good but Costa is better. He thrives on being kicked. Morata I don't think will expect it and will spend a lot of time on his arse

He was fine in Italy ... but let's see ... as I said, I hope I can add this to my "What the fuck was I thinking when I said that" list (a rather long one!)

Italy don't really kick the shit out of people either. And he was shite in Italy

I'm more likely to be wrong than you, but I don't think hell get any time to settle, bring a record signing and all

I'm sure Morata's half decent and Joey Deacon would bag a few up front for Chelski but (1) they wanted Lukaku really, & (2) I'd rather play against Morata than Costa any day of the week.

Yeah and he's not a galactico because he's not very good.
Neither was Eto'o a galactico but he turned out to be not do shabby.

Heck, he might turn out not to be all that in England (after all, didn't Soldado bomb?) but from what I've seen of him, he's a fine player.

Mate just pointed this out:

Chelsea go out and buy the player that was Man Utd’s top transfer target, for less than what Man Utd were offering, largely because Madrid weren’t happy with United because of a previous falling out over a transfer, but then Chelsea only did this because United went out and bought Chelsea’s top transfer target, for less than what Chelsea were offering, largely because Everton weren’t happy with Chelsea because of a previous falling out over a transfer when the current United manager was at Chelsea, but Chelsea started the whole thing off by selling their future top transfer target to Everton, because the Man Utd manager, then at Chelsea, didn’t like the look of him, but then since he’s left Chelsea, having previously managed Madrid before Chelsea (where he fell out with Madrid over transfers) and is now at United buying the same player from Everton that he sold from Chelsea, but in return has sold Everton a player from United, that he previously wanted first at Madrid, and then at Chelsea, but didn’t get, which caused United and Chelsea to fall out, over a player that (again) Madrid used to want when in his prime, when he was starting out at United, having joined them from … Everton.

There is no fucking way on Earth that Morata is an upgrade on Costa.

Costa scored 52 goals in his last 2 seasons. Morata has scored 40 in 6.

OK, he got 15 of them last year, but they only played him against shite. Of those 15, 9 came against sides in the bottom 3. I'd have thought scoring 15 for real madrid is a bit embarrassing when Ronaldo is getting like a hundred a season or something.

Morata's goal to game ratio is shit, correct, because he got fuck all game time.
If you watched Madrid, you'd know he's a top class striker and he'll do better than Costa

Alexis Sanchez close to contract agreement with PSG
Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez is close to agreeing contractual terms with PSG ahead of a possible move, according to L’Équipe.
PSG Sporting Director Antero Henrique was in London for two days this week notably for talks relating to Sanchez. Two main sticking points so far in terms of contract negotiations: PSG want to sign the player to a long-term contract, Sanchez’s camp only want a 3-year deal with Les Parisiens. A 4-year-deal will likely be the compromise that is reached.
Sanchez’s salary demands, €16m net a year, are also very elevated in PSG’s view, but the capital club are still willing to make Alexis one of the club’s top earners. The two main sticking points at the beginning of the week have almost entirely been resolved – a contract agreement between PSG & Sanchez appears to be imminent.
Les Parisiens will then have to convince Arsenal to sell the player, which will not be easy, but helped by the fact that PSG are not a direct Premier League rival unlike Manchester City, the latter being Sanchez’s initially favoured destination.

Another example of how insane the transfer market is this summer:

Total Arnautovic cost for West Ham £51m. Fee up to £25m. Wages over 5 years £26m. Best-paid player in club history. Earning £100,000 a week

Arnautovic can be class , unfortunately he's a massive bellend and super inconsistent - doesn't seem like the best way to spend 25m but I'm sure there'll be other big money errors this summer .

Heck if VVD and or Keita arrive and don't deliver for £70m there will be blood
