I guess the vigilante in me wants to also focus on getting back at Funes Mori. I don't mean injuring him (although if that happened to him in a non-deliberated way I would be content) I mean more of an effort to get this reviewed by the FA and to take some punitive measures. The act of stamping on Origis leg was compounded, for me, by the tapping of the badge. Whether or not he apologized afterward, matters little. In the moment it was clear he committed the act with malice - and then wanted credit from the team and supporters by indicating that he did it for the club.
5 match ban at least for me.

It really irks me the way a tackle like this can generally be a three game ban maximum. Suarez was correctly given a long ban for biting, but it's completely hypocritical to do that and then only impose a three game ban for intent to injure. There are some grey areas in tackles that end in injury, but this one was as obvious as they come. He had no intent for the ball and went out to hurt Origi because he had been given the runaround. The fact that Origi could potentially miss a Europa League final and Funes Mori could potentially play an FA Cup final before the season is over is a joke.

Yep only he can play the mong footballer role to perfection...no one can compare

Divock Origi: Injured Liverpool striker could play again this season - Klopp

Divock Origi scored the opening goal against Everton before he went off because of injury
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says Divock Origi could play again this season despite suffering a "serious injury" against Everton.
The 21-year-old Belgium striker was substituted in the second half of Wednesday's 4-0 win at Anfield after a challenge by Ramiro Funes Mori, who was then sent off.
Liverpool, in seventh, trail fifth-place Manchester United by five points with five games remaining.

"We'll try everything," said Klopp.
Origi had to be taken off on a stretcher but it was confirmed shortly after the game that he had not broken his ankle.
"The season is not over," added Klopp. "We are all different. We don't have to make any general comments. We only have to work with him and see what happens.
"Why should we say the season is over now when it is still a few games away?"

If he has to have an operation he'll miss the Euros aswell. Think it will be decided next week if he needs an operation.

Better news re Can who has responded very well to treatment and could make his comeback earlier then expected.

Ings will return to full training in the next two weeks and could play again this season.

Klopp reckons he might play before the end of the season.

Ings is also back in training and due back in team training in around 10 days, Can is now expected to be back for the end of the season too and ahem... Benteke is back next week (yippee!)
