El Cunt came to us to win things.
We didn't so he left.
Apart from waiting til the summer I'm not that disappointed in him.
We swapped El Cunt for Carrol and Luis.
Not the worst business in the world.

Yup we were quite a force in 2007 when he joined under Rafa. Just defeated in CL final. I can see the logic, but I ain't feeling logical alas. Thanks to our league performance last season and the Gicks era, we've obviously taken a few steps back. I get it. But not an English Club.

I'd have preferred Barca or Real or Inter but he has said he loves the EPL so it was always going to be City or Chelsea, just a matter of when really.
Like I said I can't blame him but his comments are a bit rough to digest. Bottom line is though unless we get back on track next season we will no longer be a top class side to anyone bar our own fans.

Dreamy, I don't really understand your whole blaise, zenlike attitude to El Cunt. "Like I said I can't blame him but his comments are a bit rough to digest." You're acting like he didn't just shit all over our 4 years of goodwill in one fell swoop. The man PRETENDED to know us and our values, and then when it came time to act the part, shit down all of our throats collectively. There is no "understanding" here. He is a twat of the highest order, a two-faced, deceptive cunt.
I'm just shocked that you're so understanding of this. Yeah, we all knew he was going to leave, but the manner he did and the way he conducted himself was mind-blowing, completely the opposite of who we thought he was. Surely you understand that.
EDIT: And the destination club he chose REALLY shows you that it was all just a put-on. There couldn't be a club more diametrically opposed to LFC than Chelsea.

He left the club he truly loves for us to further his career and win things on a domestic front.
He managed half of his ambition with us. Now he wants to match the other half.
And as for the big club talk, its just a way of getting his new fan base on side. I've heard alot worse. Owen described Utd as the biggest team in the world at one point.
I guess I'm just meh, he wanted out so who cares. Just happy we got the 50m for him.
