Henderson offers next to nothing in terms of getting into the box and getting on the end of things so i don't know where you're coming from there.

You high? Kelly just didn't bomb forwards at every opportunity because of bale and assou-ekotto. Kelly was a good outlet and didn't waste crosses
Johnson didn't cross well even once.

Today felt like a defeat and once again we were frustrating in the final third. That said, we're still 4points off 4th, it's still do-able. Plus points from today Carroll is really starting to look a lot better, Suarez is back, we finally have Gerrard and Suarez playing together.

Kelly made one decent cross from a dozen opportunities, given that was the side where I think we could've had the most joy he disappointed me, as did Kuyt.
If Suarez had started in Kuyts position from the off I think we'd have won that.
Spearing breaks up the play well but cannot pass the ball for Toffee - gave the ball away when trying anything remotely ambitious, time and time again.
Agger and Skrtel were solid enough, Reina was good when occasionally called upon, Gerrard was a bit meh and as was Adam and Bellers didnt really do much.
Pretty uninspiring yet solid performance really.Reminded me of the city game we drew 1-1 in that we wont get a better opportunity to beat them in the league ( I know we wont play them again)

Playing a three man midfield at home is pointless.
If Adam isn't fit/mobile enough to play in a two man midfield he should't be on the pitch.
