Pepe Reina has a thigh injury AND a broken nose. He had an operation yesterday on latter. Will be assessed before next week's game.
I wonder if he broke it on one of those swinging doors you get in restaurants ?

Re the game, it was terrific and a great performance. Made up for Studge, Hendo and Luis.
Good to see Gerrard hit one from distance aswell.
Our bench was strong today which is a good sign .
2 more goals at home and we've scored as many as we did in total last season.

That was a thoroughly enjoyable match to watch. Yes Norwich were shite but we were excellent. Every player hungry for the ball, great movement from Suarez and Sturridge and ruthless finishing to boot.
Really encouraging to see us making light work of the so-called smaller teams in the Premier League, something we badly failed to do last season.
