Just struck me that there are some inane things that I have often wondered about but never seem to find out the answer. Occasionally I take it on board to learn them but often when I encounter these small niggling questions, I ponder it for a few moments and then move on.
I'm sure these all will be straight forward to some/most of you but these niggling questions are often unique to the ponderer.
For example why on a pedestrian crossing sometimes but not all the time - The green man light is boxed in with metal shutters? I think I know the answer but it seems too stupid to be right.
For anyone that plays the guitar - How the fuck do harmonic's work? They are a musical law unto themselves!
Is it just me or have chocolate bars (Mars, Snickers etc) Virtually halved in size since 20 years ago? Before any smart arse says that's because I've grown. It's not I'm convinced they are significantly smaller than in the 80s say.
Why do all the formula 1 drivers all speak in press conferences and on their in car radio in English? They all do... Weird...
There are loads more of cause I just can't remember off the top of my head.
Oh and one that I found out fairly recently was what (sic) means when placed after a written word. I wouldn't say that it has enriched my life but I'm glad I know it.
