LIVERPOOL striker Michael Ngoo is ready to put into practice at Yeovil Town lessons learned whilst rubbing shoulders with the likes of Luis Suarez and Dan Sturridge.
The imposing England under-20 international will spend the season with the Glovers, intensifying competition for places in a Championship strike force that now boasts two 6ft 5ins-plus attackers and last season's League One top scorer.
Although yet to break into Brendan Rodgers' first team at Anfield, Ngoo said he has learned plenty during training sessions alongside the Reds' big names as well as a profitable 16-game temporary spell with Hearts in the Scottish Premier League.
However, Ngoo respectfully believes his Glovers' challenge will be sterner than the one faced with the Jambos, adding he was ready to take his football education to the next level.
"It was a fantastic experience and a great one for me to play for Hearts," he said. "It helped me a great deal and has helped me move up to the next challenge. Obviously this is the next challenge and I'm looking forward to it.
"The football in the Championship might possibly be a bit better than last year but I don't want to berate the SPL. I think it's a very strong league and you obviously have to play in it to understand that, as people watching can think it's not a good league.
"I think that the Championship standard and the teams that have dropped down from the Premier League have great quality. It's an excellent league.
"At a big club like Liverpool you are always going to learn and I have obviously learned a lot. I am still learning and I am a work in progress.
"Obviously I will take a lot from being here, as I have taken a lot from being at Liverpool. I have trained with the first team and all of those players are good and humble, there to help the younger players. I have learned from them and I will get as much as I can from them."
Ngoo was spotted by Liverpool aged 16 whilst with Southend United, a £250,000 fee required to tempt the 6ft 6ins striker away from the Shrimpers. The loan man should return to Roots Hall with Yeovil for the Carling Cup clash on August 6.
Twenty-year-old Ngoo, who also spent time on trial at Manchester United as a teenager, was his parent club's reserve team top scorer in 2011-12 and gave an early indication of his talent in green and white hoops, scoring a hat-trick in a 7-0 behind-closed-doors defeat of Calor Southern League Weymouth.
Ngoo revealed Yeovil's march to the Championship via the play-offs had caught his eye long before his loan deal came about and said the Glovers' stature as a minnow in the second tier of English football did not concern him.
He said: "I think it's a good move for my development, the Championship is a good level and Yeovil is a good club.
"I followed them from last season up the league and I loved the style of football they played. I loved the attacking football, which was attractive to me, and I liked the passion and hunger from the boys. It was a no-brainer for me to move here.
"Being tipped to struggle hasn't put me off because I think hard work can beat anybody and if we are working collectively, as a team, whilst helping one another I believe we can do very well and climb the league.
"This is a challenge and opportunity for me to show the fans what I am made of and how good I am.
"The boys here are very nice and humble. We all speak to each other and they are all down to earth. We're all here to help each other, really, and I am here to help anyone who needs it as well.
"I can bring power and will run in behind defences. My control is good and I can run with the ball to beat players.
"I will be able to show different aspects of my game when given the opportunity by the gaffer (Johnson)."
