Hrm, he's got the physical characteristics you need, and some ability as well. I think he's got a fair chance.
Not really i just like winding wiz up.
He looked ok last night, and the touch was first class, but i dont really see anything much in his alround game. Hope im wrong, but i think a profit is our maximum hope.

I never really like him up front on his own, I think it's too hard to expect someone like him to produce things when he was left isolated for long periods.

He looked decent last year when he played alongside Kuyt, and he took his chance very well last night. He doesn't have to become a big star for the transfer to become a success. If he turns into a realistic option behind Torres, and shows himself to be capable of 10+ goals a season he'll have been a good signing.

If he was gonna make it at Liverpool he would have done a lot more so far. Or rather been giving the chance.
He won't be here in a year. No way.

I love you.

I thought he looked very average last year, tap in's aside, but this season he has looked alot better.

But will he get the game time at 20 is the question.

I thought he was excellent as the loan striker and that was befoe he scored the winner.
He's not on loan, Neil. We bought him.

He meant lown.

Assulin and zlatan18 rate N'Gog. Well that does it for me! I'm sold!
Well f you too 🙂

Just like I liked Benayoun completely all that time ago.
And how I said Lucas had a lot more potential then everyone else said and he has clearly shown he is capable this year.

guaranteed he'll be hear in a year, so I am hoping your just on the wind up

If we had bought Owen. I would be happy with Owen and Ngog as back up strikers for Torres. The two of them combined can do the man's job. But then we would have had to change the system every time Torres got crocked.

So now that he's confirmed his name is pronounced with a G at the end, does the "wash" nickname still apply?
Where did he say that?

Did someone describe Eggnog as 'Torres-like' in this thread?

If so; kill yourself
agreed
he could be a great squad player. 8-13 goals a season deputizing for Torres. only successful way he starts if we try playing Torres off of him. In which he'd be a better version of Bendtner with us trying to get more goals for the whole team, imo.

I don't mind him tho; he's probably a little better than average, but he's also 1.5 million.

Rafa's failures are usually far more spectacular.

Its not the lads fault hes just not good enough.

Would he get into the Chelsea side? No. He would not get into any top side in europe with the exception of Liverpool.

His level is probably a mid table french side, maybe Lens or Toulouse.

I think that is wrong, he's not good enough to start for Liverpool because he plays the role that Fernando Torres does. There are a lot of top teams who would take a N'gog because he adds a lot (of goals). I'd keep him because he'll be a great squaddie for us, we need moree squaddies that would start elsewhere. If you surrounded him with midfielders with pace and goalscoring ability (a la Arsenal, Bayern, I'd say United (hell be a good CF)) he'd be scary threat and improve them.

N'Gog has done well considering his age and the price we paid for him. Not his fault that he's playing backup striker to Fernando Torres and that Rafa hasn't seen fit to acquire more experienced, more talented players to backup Torres.
