Should be a good game. Lots of offence, both score big and only have close defeats - Houston to BYU by a point and UCF to South Carolina by three. If UCF win, then they should win out their conference schedule and take the AAC BCS bowl place. If Houston win, then they'll have a showdown with Louisville in a couple of weeks (UCF have already beaten them, so if Houston beat UCF and Louisville beat Houston we'll have some fun and games).
UCF have been good fun this year. QB Brad Bortles will go pro. Has a nice arm, is big, accurate thrower, moves well scrambling. They have a power back, Storm Johnson, who can go through walls. They play Bortles in shotgun with one back and have a fuckton of receivers. Perriman, Worton, and Hall are all big, fast as fuck, and carry buckets.
Houston are interesting going forward. They lost their QB in week 2 to a concussion. It was like his fiftieth or something, and he retired. He was replaced by a true freshman, John O'Korn, and he has been on fire. 22 TDs to 4 INTs. Likes finding Deontay Greenberry. They'll hook up a lot.
Their defence is unexpectedly.effective too. Tumbleweed could get through them last year, but they lead the nation in turnovers this year. They average something like 5 turnovers a game. It's mad.
Both teams are performing better than expected this year - Louisville were expected to go unbeaten with Bridgewater making a Heisman run before he went top 10 in the draft. Houston probably more so as they didn't even make a bowl last year. New QB and new defensive.co-ordinator, and they're pitching it in the deep end. Reckon the line will be UCF by a score, maybe ten points, but this one is up for grabs.
