I just terminated my current contract at work and am starting another one in two weeks time.
The new one is less money, more travel and harder.
I have only been in this contract for 3 months but I am bored shitless, the work is crap and slow and the entire project achieves nothing. It is a typical govt large project but even by usual standards I see in this sector this one is piss poor. I dread going in every day and clock watch. It is easy, I could sit here and do very little for years earning big bucks and nobody would say a thing but I cannot do it.
Anyway, they offered me even more money to stay but I refused, guys at work think I am mad.
Overall with the new offer and expenses I will be taking about a 40% pay cut and probably doing more hours.
So, what about you. Would you stay in the job with more money that bores you shitless and you hate or would you go to something else for less money as I have, to enjoy your work (if possible) and be busy.
