Anyone care to explain why Oncy believes it was a back-pass from Raul to Suarez against Arsenal that led to the goal?

And is there an ongoing Tom Selleck-joke I don't know about?

Am I beeing whooshed?
you said the assist to Suarez, which was the second goal (1st was OG) and so Oncy is saying that in the assist Raul took one-touch and played the ball slightly backwards - hence it cannot be offside and he didn't hang on to the ball too long, which is what you accused him of

"I know he assisted Suarez but he actually kept hold of the ball too long before letting it go and the linesman could've easily flagged offside."
See Oncy, that's how easy a simple misunderstanding can be panned out. Use your keyboard and we shall prevail.

I obviously meant leading up to the first goal, the own goal, where he played Suarez with a deep ball. His assist to Suarez for the second was flawless, why would I accuse that pass of beeing anything but good?
Oh! Ok. Well then in that case the Tom Selleck picture was from three men and a little lady where he gets in trouble for using the term 'What a crock' in front of little Mary.
So i used that picture rather than actually go to the trouble of typing what Farkmaster has taken the trouble to (and is probably wondering why he bothered) that you are talking shit and almost everything youve posted in every thread you have posted in the past 24 hours and probably all the words you have said to all the people you know and all the thoughts you have had in your head and the dreams you have had and the ideas and concepts you have mused on and that every single brain synapse that has fired off and given you the impulse to post, talk, think or dream in that same time period has been wrong and you are in fact talking utter shit and everything you have said thought, done and dreamt has deserved the solitary response 'What a crock'

Youre right, thats much better.
That's one of the most sorry posts the Internet have seen in months.

Have you gone completely mental?
Aye.......ive gone round the twist.

Having just read through the thread again I think it's fair to conlcude that Oncy and Farky are either a) on acid, b) taking the piss or c) menstruating
I guess now I know what it feels like to be randomly quoted by some tabloid media in their quest for turning and twisting views.

Adam, in my opinion, is a completely different breed of midfielder than Raul hence I don't believe there's much competition there.
"I'm not quite sure what his role is going to be for us this Season as I can't see him overtake neither of Adam, Kuyt or Downing in the starting line-up."

I found Oncy's post hilarious, but there;s a 1/3 chance I might be menstruating, as opposed to just not having a fucking clue what you are talking about.

If you think Meireles is shit, just say it. Don't say, well, he's cylindrical, somewhat sticky, is punctuated by partially digested corn, and won't at the height of his powers after watching him for a year get games ahead of players I've seen play twice for liverpool, but nooo, he's not shit.

Meireles is a better and more versatile player than Adam. We should not be selling him. Adam is OK like but Raul is better..

Meireles has a great range of passing and is a very creative player. We seem to want to pass it now, so he'll fit in nicely.
At times yes. He's also got a very sloppy first touch and poor vision at times too.

I remember how frustrating he could be to watch at times last Season as he could time and time again give away easy possession and then lack the strength/will to win the ball back. He's been tried in different positions which obviously hasn't helped him but he's certainly showed almost as many weaknesses as strengths in my opinion.
Mate, the only time I disagreed with any of your posts is about your constant love for Bendtener but this is now the second.
Meireles is the best midfield at LFC next to Gerrard, we should not sell to Chelsea especially it would one of our direct competitors stronger. I also he would be cracking fit Chelsea but they can fck off.

See the Aquaman thread, or better still, don't look at that abortion of a thread and just take my word for it.

For me I thought selling ming made sense a month ago (and i like him) but now... No fucking way.

He is the makelele of attack. You don't notice what he does until you look for it. His off the ball movement is.... Astonishing. It's why he is wasted on the wing, there you are meant to stick there. In the middle however... He's impossible to mark.

But then again he's had some very good games playing on the right under Kenny as well.
Hodgeson -> Rigid formation
Kenny-> Flexible, creative football.

i don't remember ming playing well on the right...ever. If he drifts in central and stays there, yes he plays well. But when he is on the wing hes shocking. When he came on against sunderland he was shite.

Is my memory failing me, or did he play on the right and on the left under Kenny as well as Roy - but was decent there under Kenny?

Kinda comes back to what Ryan was banging on about with worrying about having decent creative attacking players first, and formation and system second

not how i remember it tbh. On the wings, regardless of manager, he takes away from us. His best work is done centrally so he ends up then leaving the wing position vacant, but if he stays wide he is predictable.

He needs to play centrally and not deep as his defensive game isn't up to scratch. For me, he is only a true threat and of use in the AM position. But he's the best player for me in that position

Selling Ming would be madness making Suarez, Downing and Gerrard our only creative players. Sturridge is not worth £12M.
