Of course not really but 3 goals in 2 games. He surely deserves a chance in the league.
I’d like to see the front 3 rotated more once the games are done. However, we’ve been seeing others coming off to manage the squad.

Yes. He deserves some more opportunities and he'll get them when AFCON is on. Then he has to prove he can continue to score against higher-calibre opposition, whilst contributing to our overall play.
Whatever role he's in, he needs the freedom to be able to mark late darts into the box, which seems to be his forte. His composure in front of goal is really starting to shine.

But, he does dawdle on the ball outside the area. He really slows thing down and looks around for what to do next. This is also when he gets bullied off the ball a lot.
He needs to know what’s next all the time. In the box, he seems to trust his instincts more.
He has a real eye for goal, but his size and lack of athleticism means he isn't suited to the wide forward positions. And he'd get bullied to oblivion as the central striker.
His ideal position is as a second striker. The Raul/Bergkamp/Kaka type position. But we'd have to change system for that.

Pretty much this, he's obviously a talented player, and I'm glad he's scoring goals. Think he needs to move elsewhere if he wants to kick on in his career. These goals should help us get a tidy fee.

I also think he's a talented guy and had hopes for him to eventually come good in a red shirt but those are all but gone. He may have gotten a goal last night but his overall performance was pretty shit (along with most of the rest of them).
It'll be interesting to see whether Klopp gives him a chance during AFCON.

I think thats it pretty much. Give him a run in the league instead of who? Jota is prolific enough, Bobby and Mane despite their so called decline are waaay more crucial to how we play. Useful yes, but he's still at best 5th in line in the front three, and Origi has had a decent season when called on so far too.
I like the fact that Klopp has been rotating the front three this season and it's working. Jota is well and truly integrated in our attack and has now turned the trio into a quartet.
I however still wish we could have a fifth player in there, especially with the AFCON this season.

At best we get back 15mil, but considering the wages (60k?) And how little he has actually contributed over 2 years here, I can't see how we won't lose money on it..
