He has some very good traits, but he's making on average a mistake a game, or rather, he's always at least slightly culpable for a goal. He should have got down to Naismith's goal yesterday, but then his command of the box from open play was really good, while we as a team exposed him too much from setpieces.

We can only assume/hope that he will improve with a solid defense around him, but it's six of one, half a dozen of the other. A defense is more assured when they trust their keeper, and vise versa.

Fulton's gone on loan to Portsmouth. He's the one young keeper who, IMHO, has a bit of aggression and maturity about him, and looks to lead the defence, so it'll be interesting to see how he fares if he actually gets a game.

BBC Sport:

Portsmouth have signed teenage Liverpool goalkeeper Ryan Fulton on a youth loan until the end of the season.
Fulton, 19, is a Scotland Under-21 international who has yet to play first-team football for Liverpool.

He was named as an unused substitute for the Reds in two League Cup ties against Carlisle and Bournemouth earlier this season.

Fulton is expected to provide competition for Portsmouth goalkeepers Brian Murphy and Paul Jones.

Saved a penalty and the rebound yesterday for Pompey.

He has according to Opta conceded 7 goals from the last 7 shots on target.
Klopp talked about how teams score with their first chances and shots on target.

Shocking stat

Ming and Benteke should have been forcibly stopped from celebrating yesterday....like one of those arse clenching "don't leave me hanging" failed high-five moments, everyone should have stopped and waited for them to leave before carrying on.

To be fair Sakho should be included in that too....for all my love for him he simply isn't grasping this opportunity to announce himself as first choice CB. What he is doing is making Martin and Lovren seem even better players whilst they're out injured.

Isn't he all kinds of crippled?

And can we please stop getting saints players

He's back from his injury. 3 clean sheets in the 3 games he's back.

They've played West Brom, the Mancs and Watford though. Those 3 teams mustered 2 shots on target in 3 games combined.
