If you look at his other hand the sleeves go all the way over the knuckles & hand.
I bet he's grabbed the tip under the logo & pulled it with a closed fist, & cos the resolution of the photo is so poor you can't see the detail around his hand.
You can see the amount of noise where the compression has made all the red just a couple of shades, so it'd make sense.
