'As gifted as Fowler'

Hahahahahahahaha

I'm glad somebody else picked up on that, cos I was just about to. In fairness I think it was "as naturally gifted a finisher as Fowler"... Which may even be worse.

What a load of shite.

I'd have thought he'd have quit banging the Huntelaar drum, given that the big choker has failed at two successive clubs, but rather than shy away he's come roaring back with this "as good a finisher as Fowler" lark.

If at first you don't succeed...

Good grief, if this Dutch lad was as good as Fowler then he would be first name on his club's team sheet rather than trying to find a club to take him on loan. A moronic comment.

Fortunately that's not the question - which is whether he's as good as Babel. And the answer is a very resounding - "well he's got to be hasn't he?"

you have to wonder why he's failed at 2 top clubs in such a short time.

1) Real - he had bob hope, they just collect players like Ivana Trump collects mink coats. Benzema will be out on his ear next, poor lamb.

2) Milan - They've got Pato/Ronaldinho and decided to go with some other geezer whose name I can't remember (begins with B)

Anyway, if there's any credence in this story we should bite their dicks off to get him.

Benzema is so overrated it hurts, I remember some on here claiming they'd rather have him than Eto'o, what TRIPE!

I can see why people would prefer Benzema over Eto'o.

Football365 have West Ham & Everton linked with Huntelaar, we should be in for this guy if he is available on loan. He would be a great addition in the short term.

How did he fail exactly at Real? He scored goals and couldn't get a run of games (much like Owen) and was then deemed surplus as they were going after Benzema and all.

Huntelaar 8 goals in 20 games for Madrid (wow, so bad. 0.40 goals per game) & 3 goals in 11 for Milan (considering he's barely played, that's not that bad) ... Owen's stats at Madrid were 13 in 35 (0.37 goals per game) - was he a big choker who failed at Madrid too? or got too few opportunities that weren't off the bench?

Age is the only criteria in which he is better, Benzema will never score goals like Eto'o.

He went there in Decemer '08 for what 25M?

6 months later he's been sold for a 10M loss.

Would you deem that a success LeTall?
