Milan striker Klass-Jan Huntelaar could be about to bag a move to Liverpool with Ryan Babel heading the other way on loan.

According to Milannews.it, Huntelaar is Premier League bound. There is rampant speculation surrounding the player, and the latest idea being floated around in Italy is a move to Anfield.

The report claims Rafa Benitez is looking for a striker, and Huntelaar is the one closest to suiting his needs on Merseyside. The move is likely to be welcomed by the Rossoneri. It's a quick-fix answer to Huntelaar's lack of action, and it could pave the way for Babel, himself the subject of abundant transfer talk, to arrive at Milanello.

It is said Babel can be an alternative to Ronaldinho and Alexandre Pato, while Liverpool could revive Huntelaar ahead of the World Cup. As things stand there have not been any negotiations, and the reports remain unconfirmed at this stage.
 
Babel won't get a game over there, that's for sure. I seen Huntelaar score two belter for Holland against Ireland when he was Europe's Hottest Property. I was full sure I had seen the next big thing after that performance, but a couple of bad club choices have hurt him and his career. Well worth the gamble, I'd love him to come here, a loan deal would be superb.
 
Well we're not playing Babel anyway, so what have we got to lose?


Jones or Huuntelaar, I know which I'd prefer.
 
It would be a perfect move.

He had 8 goals in 20 games for Real, thats not that bad in a season where he was used a lot of times as a sub.
In Milan, he hasn't been given a chance to be honest. He should definetly not have moved there.
 
the one game i saw him play, for madrid, i thought he looked good. but madrid were on fire. he scored a couple.
 
If we're bringing in a striker, we have to be able to pretty much guarantee that he would succeed. We should be moving for David Villa. Huntelaar is too much of a gamble. Why swap one pig in a poke for another? There's no need to panic buy/swap, and this smacks of it.

1) Real - he had bob hope, they just collect players like Ivana Trump collects mink coats. Benzema will be out on his ear next, poor lamb.

2) Milan - They've got Pato/Ronaldinho and decided to go with some other geezer whose name I can't remember (begins with B)

Anyway, if there's any credence in this story we should bite their dicks off to get him.
