Another impressive performance. I actually don't miss Reina, well except for his distribution.
Mignolet has absolutely been top class. Best signing this summer by far.

How many points has he actually won/saved this season? 10 maybe?

He's an excellent shot stopper, and I think we made the right decision with him & Reina.

I hope other parts of his game develop so he can become as dominant in all facets as Reina was.

He was quality again on Saturday. Like LTW said, if he improves his dominance and his kicking he'll be top drawer.

50 plus secs.. Lukaku ran clear, Agger gave up. Skrtel who was yards behind ended up ahead of him.

He seems more comfortable with the ball at his feet, compared to beginning of the season. First few games I wanted to pull my hair out every time defenders passed the ball to him. Now his passing looks more assured, although kicking still needs work.

On Saturday he also started a couple of attacks with quick throws, the way Reina used to do. Seems to be learning.

He's an incredible shot stopper. Of course, the problem at the moment is he's having too many shots to stop. If we defend better and give him much less to do it'll be excellent.

He's alright. If he organised his defence better he'd have less shots to save though. Goalkeeping isn't just about shop stopping.

Yeah. Friend commented that he was reminiscent of Valdes yesterday and that's probably a good comparison. Valdes is also a fantastic shot-stopper and one of the best around in one-on-one situations (has to be with that Barca defence at times).

He had to make three or four of the kind of saves on Saturday that a good LFC team would normally only let happen about once every ten matches. Add to that the profoundly stupid routine our defenders go through every game, passing sideways until enough of the opposing team press up high, then pass back to Mignolet to slice the ball away just before it rebounds off an oncoming forward, and we're putting him under way too much pressure. He could have had that at Sunderland.

Totally agree. My counter to comments about his distribution is always that it is made to look even worse by the fact he is too often passed the ball when our defenders and have fucking around and end up passing it back when he has no short options as all of the defenders have picked up markers and he has to give it the hoof.

its a bit hard to take your opinions seriously when you post overly critical stuff like this. I can't see these breakaways being his fault at all. It's reminiscent of him gaining us points in the first few games; only to be savaged by the peanut gallery for his camera saves and distribution. Probably the same people who would have signed Hart.

Delighted having Mig as our Goalie, i wanted Reina gone a season earlier than he was, he had dipped well below the standard required for a Liverpool goalkeeper, he was costing us points for the last 3 seasons he was here, not saving us them like he used to, look at the difference now, Mig has been earning us points from game 1.

Reina took the complete piss at the end with the Barca stuff.
