For the mother fucking win.

It was going to have to take some effort to usurp Sehwag or Amla's performances of recent times, but he's done it.

Bit of a snoozefest but theres always gonna be tons of runs at Adelaide.

Fancy a draw again here. Obviously Aus have a chance if they can get a few early wickets but personally I fanacy SA to get up near 550 and itll remain 0-0

It was hard to imagine anyone else being MoM until the last day.
Du Plessis is a deserving winner, though. Facing 535 balls in your first test!!!

Decent batting by Hussey, too.

Indeed - he's still going to be shagged out when the Perth test starts.

Talk of him not being fit to play.

There's word Mitchell Johnson might come in, which would be a disaster.

Starc will obviously replace Pattinson.

Yes - incredible effort. If Smith or Kallis had done that it would have been amazing, but a fringe player on his first test match opportunity....

Both Siddle and Hilfenhaus are not playing in the 3rd test.
So it looks like Johnson, Starc and Hazlewood.
No spinner for SA, they will go with Steyn, Morkel, Klienveldt and Philander.

Well, they will use Robin Petersen as the spin option.
I understand that the Perth wicket favours speed, so I guessing that was behind the SA decision to go with Steyn, Morkel, Klienveldt and Philander.

The pitch is not doing much, you have to move the ball in the air to get wickets here. SA managed to do that in the first innings. Steyn in particular got the ball to move well.. Clarke wicket was a peach of a nut. He got done in by both swing and seam movement.

Otherwise the pitch still has true bounce and good pace to aid shot making.

Respect to the Proteas for how the handled Pointing's dismal ... It seemed the Kallis didn't even want the catch.
