Yeah if anyone watched Germany in the U21 tournament recently.... he fucking tore teams to pieces.
Would be a fantastic signing, brilliant talent and would bring much needed creativity to our side.
But I cannot see Bremen letting him go on the cheap.
Ozil or Marin would be tops.

He only has a year left on his contract apparently, so they might have to

I really hope so!

Werder Bremen midfielder Mesut Ozil has dismissed claims he has already agreed a new contract with the club.

The Germany international is locked in talks with Bremen about an extension to his deal, which is due to expire in 2011, but insists an agreement has not yet been reached.
"It's in the papers, but it is not correct,'' Ozil said. "We are still holding negotiations and we will just have to see what emerges from them.''
Should the 21-year-old not commit to a new deal by the summer, Bremen may choose to sell him rather than risk losing him for nothing next year. But their director of sport Klaus Allofs is keen to convince Ozil to stay at the Weserstadion.
"It would be great if it were to happen, but we are not done yet,'' he said. "We have been looking for a solution for a while now which suits Werder Bremen and also Mesut.
"Maybe we will soon find one.''
